JS Consulting, Writing & Marketing — Policies & Terms of Service

Dear Clients,

Thank you for choosing JS Consulting, Writing & Marketing. These policies apply to all consulting, writing, design, and video services, and are designed to keep every project clear, on schedule, and fairly handled for both sides. Please read them in full before engaging services. By proceeding with a project, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Section 1 — Services & Engagement

Services include grant writing and nonprofit support, executive career services (resumes, LinkedIn branding, cover letters, executive bios, interview coaching), small business web design, and corporate video marketing.
Every project begins with a consultation request. A request does not guarantee a booking; bookings are confirmed personally.
Project scope, deliverables, and price are confirmed before work begins. Work outside the confirmed scope is billed at $50/hr.

Section 2 — Pricing

Career Starter $99; Executive Branding $499.
Startup Launch from $499; Growth Engine from $2,500.
Social Edit $250; Signature Ad Spot from $950.
Hourly consulting $50/hr.
Prices confirmed at engagement apply to that project.

Section 3 — Payment & Deposits

Project work requires a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the balance due before final delivery.
Accepted payment methods: Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal.
No refunds once work has started.
Final files are released after payment is complete.

Section 4 — Turnaround Times

Career services: 5–7 business days.
Web design and video advertising: 14–21 days.
Expedited turnaround of 24–48 hours is available for a 25% rush surcharge on the project price, agreed before work begins.
Timelines assume prompt client feedback and materials; delays in receiving either may extend delivery.

Section 5 — Revisions

Basic projects include 1 revision round; high-end projects include 2 revision rounds, within 7 days of delivery.
Revisions beyond the included rounds, or changes outside the original scope, are billed at $50/hr.

Section 6 — Outcomes

No guaranteed employment outcomes are promised for career services.
No guaranteed advertising outcomes (such as engagement lift or sales) are promised for marketing work.
If an advertising project shows no engagement lift within 30 days, one complimentary strategy review is offered.

Section 7 — Ownership & Display

Clients own the final files after payment is complete.
We may display completed work in our portfolio unless a non-disclosure agreement is signed before the project begins.

Section 8 — Stalled Projects

If a client stalls a project for 30+ days without communication, a restart fee may apply before work resumes.

Section 9 — Communication

Business hours: 7 days a week, 7 AM – 11 PM. Non-urgent messages are answered during those hours.
Please keep confirmation and project emails saved for reference, and check them before asking about dates or details already shared.

Section 10 — Acknowledgment & Updates

By proceeding with a project, clients acknowledge and agree to these policies.
These policies may be updated as needed; any update will apply from the date stated when it is published.
